'Naiad'
In 1989 Voyager 2 discovered 'Naiad', the innermost of Neptune's small moons orbiting a mere 48,200 kms from the gas giant.
Named in respect to 'The Naiads' (the nymphs who lived in and presided over brooks, springs, and fountains) in classical mythology, Naiad's diameter is just 54 kilometres.
Remaining close to its equatorial plane this small moon orbits Neptune every 7 hours and 6 minutes in the same direction as the planet rotates. Naiad is anomalous in size and shape and exhibits no suggestion of any geological modification.
Although its orbital eccentricity, inclination and visual geometric albedo etc have been calculated, it remains a distant undetermined enigmatic mass.
This unisonant soundscape was inspired by a visualized celestial milieu of Naiad and its homogeneous mythology.
